Write Everywhere.  There's value in screenwriting manuals and books, as long as they don't usurp the throne, which most try to do. You have to take this question seriously:

What is fundamental?

When it comes to writing screenplays, most of these books ignore who the writer is, and place their faith entirely on systems and concepts. Good luck there.

Aaron Sorkin says Aristotle is the key dude. But I think the most important paper published for finding one's voice as a writer and creative artist is:

Mundus Imaginalis, by Henry Corbin.

If you insist on conceptual frameworks for your creative life, the books listed below are great tools, as long as they do not beat you into submission.

Screenwriting: The Sequence Approach
Joseph Paul Gulino

The Science of Storytelling
Will Storr

The Elements of Screenwriting
Irwin R. Blacker

You
What Story Resonates With You?

I mostly write about the impact of technology on the human psyche, and how we move forward from there. It ranges from cybersecurity and the fifth domain to issues like artificial intelligence, augmented spaces, virtual reality,
space exploration, life extension, biotechnology, nanotechnology, and any tool that can be used to augment, expand, or replace human intelligence.

Best of Luck, amigos.
